Obituary for Imogene Wehner

IMOGENE WEHNER, age 78, of Piqua, died at 6:55 AM on Wednesday February 28, 2018 at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit, Troy, Ohio. She was born in Piqua, OH on March 1, 1939 to the late Frank and Mary (Heiser) Vannoy. On June 2, 1956 in Troy, Oh, she married Norman F. Wehner. He preceded her in death on January 23, 2018.

Imogene is also survived by one daughter: Nancy Goings, Piqua, OH; two sons: Richard Wehner, Sidney, OH; David Wehner, Cartersville, GA; one sister: Norma Payne, Montgomery, AL; five grandchildren: Alexis Ballard, Morgan Wehner, Melissa Wehner, Richard Wehner, Jr., Nikki Wehner and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister: Margaret Westfall and one half-brother: Roy Westfall.

Imogene attended Covington High School. She was a member of Covington Eagles #3998. Imogene was a loving homemaker.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday March 3, 2018 at 10:00 AM at MELCHER-SOWERS FUNERAL HOME, Piqua with Rev. Gary Wagner officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington, OH. Calling hours will be Friday 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
